VPMA-3 :

VEŽBOVNA PROTIVPEŠADIJSKA MINA ANTIMAGNETNA-3

This is the practice version of PMA-3.
During the existance of former Yugoslavia it was produced in factory PK(PREDUZEĆE KAMNIK) in city Kamnik for Yugoslavian people's army.
This mine was used for drilling soldiers in Yugoslavian people's army military bases and military schools.

It has a filling of 35 grams pyrotechnical smoke mixture, instead of explosives.
When activated, the smoke mixture burns for about 5 seconds through the upper rubber part of the mine.
There are no holes for releasing smoke on the mine's body because during burning of smoke mixture, it releases very high temperature and melts the upper rubber casing of the mine so the smoke can easily go out.
Dimensions,weight and materials are the same as on live PMA-3.
