The bodies of the TMB-2 and TMSB non-metallic antitank mines consist of two-piece tar-impregnated, cardboard containers.
The joint between the halves is sealed with tape and asphalt and the entire minebody is coated with a waterproof tar.
The fuze well is located in the top center of the mine and is covered with a threaded glass plug en rubber washer.
MV-5 pressure fuzes and MD-2 detonators are employed.
The TMSB is the heavier of the two mines.
