There are four types of Soviet detonating cords, all of which can be detonated by the No.8 blasting cap. They are all issued in 50m (164ft) coils that are packed in a wooden box. A 50meter coil contains about 0.7 kg (1.5lbs) of explosives. The table below gives the characteristics of each type. |
