Large body fully made of aluminium.
Gold painted to identify it as inert.
Wooden insert and plastic screw-on cover.
The mine has two secondary fuze wells, one on the side and one on the base. Both are shut with plastic screws.

Shown right and below is another version of the same excercice mine, just a little different from the one shown above.

The text "legnab" is short for "Legnabootsing" translated "dummy to be laid".
Apparently, at first these mines were made of grey plastic, later production was gold-painted.
