This bottle was factory made as an Incendiary bottle. The paper label held full instructions on how to use it.
Before use, the cork had to be taken off with help of the attached string.
A glass ampoule was inserted and the cork placed back again.
The bottle was to be thrown to the target. Both bottle and ampoule would break on impact, igniting the flammable content.

The paper label on the photographed bottle holds a stamped date of 1960.
