This defensive grenade was produced in Croatia in 1991 in the factory PROGRES, for the Croatian army.
It was made of steel pipe processed on the outside surface for better fragmentation on square shaped fragments.
The fuze was local made improvisation, and it was made from parts for tractor mechanisms, as the factory had been producing tractors before the war.
The top of the fuze had to be struck on a hard object to ignite the delay element which was a 4 cm long pyrotechnic slow-burning fuse for mining. At the end it had a detonator attached.
Bodies were painted in the factory in matt black.
