This training grenade worked exactly the same as the live one, but had an open base.
The fuze held only a small black powder pellet and both fuze and body could be re-used after every throw.
White painted body with a red band.
In it's life (after ww2?) this grenade was renamed into Markierungs-DefensivHandgranate17.
Only the identification markings were changed.
