This grenade was developed by the Swedish Förenade Fabriksverken in the early 1970's.
It was not adopted by the Swedish army.
According to 1973 documents it was shipped for tests to the Netherlands, but like in Sweden, it was not taken into Dutch army inventory.
The acceleration of throwing was used by the mechanism to arm itself.
