The Veldhandgranaat was a revision of the Rifle grenade of 1915.
The body was made of cast aluminium and had a rolled sheet steel tube as a stick.
Before throwing, 2 safetypens had to be pulled.
When thrown, the wrist rope would cock and ignite the delay. Shrapnell goes up to 30meter.
Filling was 42gram Nitroglycerine powder, grenades were packed in crates of 35.

Length : 420mm (450mm w/rope).
Diameter : 54mm.
