This aluminium grenade held a solid teargas-mixture, ignited by a 2.5seconds pull-friction igniter.
Two version of these existed, both 24mm diameter.
The short type (on photos) is 97mm long , 20seconds gas emission.
The long type is 128mm and has a 25seconds gas emission.

The transport-tube on the photo measures 103mm long and 26mm in diameter (for short type).
Grenades were produced by NICO Pyrotechnik Hanns-Jürgen Diederichs GmbH und Co KG, Hamburg.
