Like the other Nipolit grenades, this one too was made of Nipolit only.
It had a cylindrical body with 4 cavities on the side.
4 holes went through the body, from top to bottom.
It used the pull-friction fuze like the egg grenade.

The grenade could be fitted with a fragmentation sleeve.
