This grenade, fitted with a fuze-variation on the first model was previously called an airial bomb by me. A good remark by Michael Heidler was that this could have been a model to prevent the grenade of bouncing off its target. And like Michael said, the "vanes" are not at all in a good position to "catch" wind.
The grenade was in fact used as an aireal bomb (handthrown) as well, but it had large vanes on the impact-fuze. A nice b/w photo of this one is shown in Wolfgang Fleischer's book on german bombs. This bomb-fuze looks nothing like the fuze shown below.
