Francesco came with the following information on this grenade:

"DT" stands for Deutsche Truppenversuch, which translates as German Troop Trial.
This grenade was being tested in the field by the German Army for some period.

Other "DT" models are DT41 (Austria Arges HGO78), DT21 (Spain POMI), DT15 (smoke unknown).
