The German stielhandgranate could also be used without the wooden stick.
An adapter was fitted on the threads where the stick should be, and a BZE fuze was fitted.
In fact, about any grenade- or boobytrap fuze would fit.
In my collection I have the three variations shown below. More types might exist.
Left to right : Aluminium, bakelite and steel.
The aluminium version is the only one marked. The bakelite one is a resin copy and I have my doubts on the steel one.
The steel version might be the adapter originally intended for the WK 358 LP.
