This grenade is a simplified version of the M41.
Both top and base of the grenade have only 4 notches each which are used by the
metal wire to keep them together.

The top of the grenade on the photo is marked " RM 43 ".

R M is the abbrevation of the steel foundry " Rauta ja Metallivalimo Oy "
