This grenade was first used by the Austrian army in 1914.
2 different models exist, both made of cast iron.
One type (see photos) had it's safety fuze on the top of the grenade, the second model had it's fuze on the base, where the steel wire "stick" is attached to the body.
This grenade is very similar to the Italian "Carbone".
