The body of this Incendiary grenade was constructed similar to the MkIII offensive grenade.
It consisted of a cardboard body with a crimped on tin base and a crimped on die-cast top.
The lower half of the body was filled with solid oil, the top half held a thermite charge with an igniting booster.
The two fillings were separated by a thin cardboard disc.

Length: 87mm , diameter: 49mm , weight: 340gram.
48 unfuzed grenades were packed in a wooden case, bodies carried a wooden plug.
Fuzes were seperately packed in cases of 384pcs.
