This cast iron throwing dummy was a lookalike of the MkII-Mk2A1 fragmentation grenade.
The difference from the Mk1dummy is the new style fuze assembly.
It has a body with imitated fuze-body and (long)spoon, all cast in one piece.
The holes in the side and the base are unthreaded.
Split-pen with ring can be pulled. Various colours possible.
So far, I've come accoss bodies marked "3" and others with "korea".
The one shown below weighs 630gram. |
