This black bakelite adapter made it possible to fit a trap fuzes to the secondary fuze well of the US M6 and M15 A/T Mine. Later versions were made of green plastic.
The base held a threaded cup filled with a tetryl booster charge.
After removal of the closing plug, a boobytrap was fitted into the threaded hole. The closing plug was discarded off.
